Glitter saves the day... again.

Hey there!

I don’t know about you guys but I cannot wait for this week to be over! It’s been a draining one I tell ya but nothing a glass of wine and some polish fumes can’t fix. Ha!

I haven’t worn any green in a while so last night I decided to put on China Glaze’s Holly-Day.  It’s a nice dark green creme that was easy to apply. So I put it on and… nothing. The color just kinda fell flat for me. I don’t know if it was my mood or the way it looks with my skintone but like Randy Jackson often says on American Idol “It was just okay for me…” The color didn’t really speak to me at first but I believe that there’s always a way to bring life to a boring mani.  

I pulled a bottle of NYX’s Gilded glitter off the shelf (a must-have!) and painted the tips of my nails. Next I stuck a rhinestone to the ring finger and added gold bullion beads all around It. It still didn’t seem like enough so I added more and made a little bullion bead trail.

One more thing before we get to the nail porn. Do you guys prefer seeing the base colors before I nail art the crap out of them or do you just prefer seeing the final result?  I’d like to hear what you guys think so hit me up!

Ahhhhh much better! I could see myself rocking this around Christmas time…
